Timber Cutting License
- A copy of the deed certified by the Grama Niladari and verified by the original
- Where the noticeable owner of the land is certified by the Grama Niladari when the applicant is not aware of the clear title of the land Affidavit taken to prove that there is no objection to the issuance of a permit to rent to the applicant when there are several heirs
- If a new construction is expected to throw down trees, an appropriate construction plan
- Letters of the pradeshiya Sabhas / Urban Councils if they are being scattered due to dangers
- If court verdicts regarding the land are relevant, court orders regarding them and dump
- Notice of correspondence in the case of power line disturbance or protest
- If the tree is located on the fence, the approximate (bare) land is owned by the owner. The owner is not opposed to cut the tree.

Issuing Animal Transportation Licenses

- Application:
You'll need to complete an application for a transport permit, which can be obtained from the Divisional Secretary's office. - Grama Niladari Recommendation:
Obtain a recommendation from the Grama Niladari (village head) of the area where the animal is located. - Veterinary Certificate:
Get a health certificate from a Government Veterinary Surgeon, which is a mandatory document for animal transport. - Cattle/Goat Vouchers:
If transporting cattle or goats, you'll need the relevant vouchers. - Vehicle Recommendation:
If using a vehicle for transport, obtain a recommendation for the vehicle from the relevant authorities. - Payment Receipt:
Pay a fee of Rs. 50 per animal to the Divisional Secretariat and obtain a receipt. - Farm Registration Certificate:
You may need to provide a farm registration certificate. - Transport Certificate:
When moving an animal by foot, you can obtain a transport certificate from the Divisional Secretary, presenting the cattle voucher and health certificate.
Recommendation for Gun permits
Application completed by the Grama Niladari and the relevant police station by the applicant
